Christmas Spirit/Clappy

is thrilled to be on the Zig stage again! She has most recently been seen here as a 10yr old Tommy in The Who's Tommy, Molly in Annie, a Sea Creature in The Little Mermaid, Jr. and as the Elephant Bird in Seussical The Musical. She has Also performed in Annie at the Tulsa  Project Theatre. Annie also enjoys dancing, science, rock climbing, drawing, and being with her family. 



received her B.A. in Musical Theatre from WSU. She has previously performed in RENT (Swing), 35MM: A Musical Exhibition (Woman 1), and Annie Get Your Gun (Connie). When Lara is not doing theatre she works as a Youth Advocate at Youth Futures Shelter Home and is a performer for Northern Utah Princess Parties. Enjoy the show! 


Mrs. Derpy/Painting/Dancer

is a chemical engineer by day, and theater lover by night. Her favorite roles have been Bloody Mary in South Pacific and Ethyl Savage in The Curious Savage. She is grateful to her parents, choir director, and piano teacher for cultivating her love of music and performance and inspiring her to follow her dreams. Megan is especially grateful to her husband, Kip, for his continual support. 



is thrilled to be joining the cast of A Fairly Potter Christmas Carol. Brooklyn participated in The Zig’s first youth camp, where she played a role in their production of Annie Jr, and immediately fell in love with theater. She has been cast in several plays, with her favorite credits including Young Éponine in Les Misérables and Lulu/Christmas Spirit in A Fairly Potter... She is always striving to better herself, and is excited for each and every opportunity she gets to do so.


Don's Sister

is thrilled to be in Fairly Potter again this year, having originated the role of Christmas Spirit four years ago. Other favorite roles include Jeune in Musical of Musicals, July in Annie, and Lady Beaconsfield in Jekyll and Hyde. When not performing on the stage or attending rehearsals, Gracie can be found binge watching Gilmore Girls, hanging out with the DaVinci Academy theatre department, and watching slam poetry videos at ungodly hours. She would like to thank Rick Rea and Megan Lilly for getting her to where she is now. She is very appreciative for all of the opportunities The Zig has brought her. 



is ecstatic to be in his first stage production at The Zig and his first play since 2011. Spencer was in three productions at North Summit High School: Fiddler on the Roof, South Pacific and Footloose. He would like to thank the cast and crew for all their hard work. 



 is excited for his first performance on The Zig stage. Previous roles include: Scrooge in A Christmas Carol, The Cat in the Hat in Seussical The Musical, and The Grinch in How the Grinch Stole Christmas. He would like to thank his family for their support and the Zig for this opportunity.



 is excited to be reprising this role for the second year in a row. She is also extremely honored to be preforming in her third production at The Zig! Kelsie loves all aspects of theatre, but musical theatre is her absolute favorite. Her most memorable role was playing Fantine in Les Misérables. Kelsie would like to thank her family and friends for encouraging and supporting her in all her endeavors. She also would like to give a BIG thank you to Josh and Kyle who spent many long days and nights helping to make this show absolutely amazing! And Kelsie would also like to thank the cast and crew who worked so hard to make A Fairly Potter Christmas Carol possible. Break a leg Y’all!


Jacob/Lil Voldy/Dooey

has been performing with the Zig Youth program for over three years, including The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, The Wizard of Oz and A Fairytale Christmas Carol. Recent main stage Zig productions include Nathan in The Full Monty and Oliver in Oliver! When he's not acting or singing, Declan loves to swim, ice skate, travel and study geography. He is so excited to be back on stage with so many of his friends! 



grew up on the Big Island of Hawaii and graduated with a double major in English and Music from BYU-Hawaii. Her favorite past roles include Buttercup in The Princess Bride and Glinda the good witch in The Wizard of Oz. She recently moved to Layton this year and is thrilled to be joining The Zg for the first time in this production.


Alan Rickman/Crudley/Dasher

Alan Rickman/Crudley/Dasher) is ecstatic to be performing at The Zig for the first time. Patrick recently graduated with an acting/directing major at WSU and was last seen on the Weber stage in the devised theatre piece Innovations, and as the Teacher in Where Words Once Were. He also performed with Good Company Theatre in Jim Christian’s Pirated. Patrick would like to thank his family and friends for their love.

age 10, is a natural performer. He enjoys making others laugh especially with his expressive mannerisms. He has performed with the Zig Youth Theater in The Wizard of Oz, Seussical The Musical, Cinderella, Aladdin, and is excited to be in the winter production of Elf Jr., which opens soon. He also performed in the main stage show Oliver! Wyatt is an avid reader and spends his time writing stories and painting. He hopes to continue to perform here at The Zig! 



 a graduate of the U of U Music program, is thrilled to make his Zig debut in A Fairly Potter Christmas Carol. Dayne is no stranger to the stage; over the last 12 years he has had the wonderful opportunity to perform as a soloist with Utah Opera, Utah Symphony and Utah Lyric Opera and appear in Disney film productions such as High School Musical 1, 2 and 3 and the Halloweentown series. “A proud Gryffindor, signing off. Mischief Managed!”



 is enjoying his 6th year in theater, the last four being with The Zig. He has been in six youth productions through the Zig Youth program and is currently preparing to play Buddy in Elf Jr. Previous main stage credits include Oliver! as an Orphan. When not on stage, Josh loves robotics, math, reading, rock climbing, art, and anything to do with science. He would like to thank his family for supporting him and getting him to his many rehearsals! 



Being in Fairly Potter was a goal of Adyson's once she started performing at The Zig and she is so excited to be in her second production of this theatrical favorite. Other credits include Oliver! (Fagin's Gang), Bye Bye Birdie (Cheerleader), Aladdin Jr. (Iago), Seussical The Musical Jr. (JoJo), Annie (Tessie) and The Little Mermaid Jr. (Flounder). Adyson loves being on stage and is fortunate to be surrounded by loving, supportive family and friends. A special thanks to her cousin, Dylan and Grandmager. If it weren't for them, she wouldn't be where she is today. “Thank you so much for coming and enjoy the show!” 



has been acting for 43 years, ever since he played a 1940's newsboy in The Solid Gold Cadillac at Weber State College. He has played many roles over the years and would be hard-pressed to decide which were his favorites. For many reasons, The Zig is a second home for him and the theater has provided him with a myriad of memorable experiences. He is ecstatic to be back in this production again. 



Expectus Notmuchus! Jaden Bickle is excited to be in his first ever production, EVER! Jaden would like to thank the love of his life for giving him the push to do the show! He would also like to thank the big man himself, Rick Rea, for being as patient as can be and encouraging him even further to be the best he can be! 


Father Christmas

 is a veteran singer-songwriter and is excited to return to the stage after a long hiatus. Previous productions: The Secret Garden (Dicken), Fiddler on the Roof (ensemble), 1776 (ensemble). Winner: Idaho State Solo competition, Tenor Voice (1995). Big thanks to Tifney and all the girls.


Looney/Princess Leia/Ensemble

is thrilled to be making her musical theater debut. A talented young singer, Aurora has participated in her grade school and jr. high school choirs and numerous solos in church. Thanks to Mom, Dad and sisters for the love and support.

Mr. Derpy/Magic

 is enjoying his 7th production here, having been previously seen as Lurch in The Addams Family, Bill Sykes in Oliver!, Undertaker in Beauty and the Beast, Charlie Cowell in The Music Man, and Snape in A Fairly Potter... He is grateful to be onstage with his son, Isaac, and daughter, Lydia. In his free time he enjoys lifting weights, fishing, camping, and being with his family. He would like to thank his family for their love and support and The Zig for this opportunity.

is excited to make his return to The Zig, having previously been seen as Pugsley in The Addams Family, Winthrop in The Music Man, Flounder in Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Young Jerry in Fairly Potter, and Hussar in Oliver! Isaac would like to thank his family for all their support. I love music. I am happy to have it be such a big part of my life. Jon has played in multiple bands in the area and is thrilled to be playing on stage with such an amazing band and cast. He has also been on stage as an actor in multiple productions. I would like to thank my wife for her unending support and for sharing my passion of music.



is excited for her debut on The Zig stage. She has been involved with several performances around the community including Gingy in Shrek The Musical, Susy Hendrix in Wait Until Dark, Shelby in Steel Magnolias, and Anna Hale in The Lightning Bug. Dawn works at the veterans home in Ogden, loves dogs, and enjoys the art of sarcasm.
